The Missionary LIFE
My name is Nikita Edwards. In 2007, I moved to the USA from The Netherlands to study dance and psychology abroad. Little did I know that God had greater plans for me than just getting a B.A. degree and a career.
We all get to live our lives but how do we live it? When I got called into the mission field, I discovered a “walking by faith” life I never thought I would live, but when God transforms your heart and calls you to be all in for Him, the best thing you can do is say YES. In 2013 I said Yes to becoming a missionary full time and that was the beginning of LIFE: Living In Faith Everyday.
I was blessed to do missions work with Crossover Church (2013-2017) in Tampa Fl and the gospel reggae band Christafari (2017-2022) as vocalist/dancer/bassist/choreographer in 45 plus nations.
In 2022 I married my loving husband Kerron Edwards, a talented cinematographer/content creator from Trinidad and Tobago. God blessed us in 2023 with our daughter Jahzara and together we aspire as a family to use our talents for the Lord with our missions work at Faith Life Music.

According to 1 Peter 4:10: "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." God has given me the gift of the creative arts, not just to keep it to myself, but to bring Glory to Him and to serve others.
